Emmett High School Alumni Association

After graduation I joined the Navy and served 4 years on active duty. I got to travel and see several foreign countries. After my military service I returned to Boise and worked for Perma-Green Lawn Care Company. I then moved to Walla Walla, Washington and spent 3 ∏ years at the Washington State Penitentiary, NO I was not an inmate!! I worked in corrections until I got a position with the City of Walla Walla Police Department. I joined the Department in 1988 and worked as a Patrol Officer, Felony Crimes Detective, and a Detective Sergeant in charge of a Special Teams Unit working Drug and Gang Crime. I have now returned back to Uniform Patrol as a Shift Sergeant and hope to serve out my last 5 years before retirement in that position.

My son Steve is now 25 years old. He is in the Air Force and currently serving in Germany. He is married and they have my grandson, Calvin Michael. Calvin just turned 1 and I can’t wait till he gets back in the US so Grandpa can spoil him.

I am re-married to a wonderful woman, Michelle. She is a Paramedic / Firefighter also with the City of Walla Walla. We have a great life together here in Walla Walla.
