Shawn (Leusch) Farish

After high school, I attended BSU and the U of U and began working for AT&T in SLC (sorry about all the acronyms) where I married a man named Young.  There are a lot of those in Utah.  He also worked for Ma Bell and we began climbing the corporate ladder, moving about every 18 months on average.  My last positions were as Los Angeles Area Mgr for AT&T Credit Corp. and finally a Nat'l Mgr for small business eqpt sales.  At age 35 and divorced after 10 years with no children, I took a 2 year sabbatical which was offered by my employer in an attempt to avoid layoffs.  I found a home for the cat (don't all divorced women own a cat?), hired someone to cut the lawn, and headed to Kona, Hawaii for some adventure.  I found love in paradise and never looked back.  My husband Randie and I have been married for 12 years while I have helped with his business Sea Quest Rafting and Snorkeling Adventure. Not long ago, he sold the business and we have recently purchased a motorhome which we garage in Emmett. We are pursuing a snowbird lifestyle now, living and working the cooler months in Kona and traveling the mainland the warmer months.  Have extension cord, will travel.  Since fate has left us childless, we regularly endulge our passion for travel. The most unusual visits among our many travels include Machu Picchu in the Andes of Peru, Russia, Fiji, the Alps, and we have an African safari scheduled for this Oct.  Other interests include decorative painting, trawler boats, parrothead phlocking, games, and wine. I can be reached at creativeharvest@gmail.com and look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion in Sept.
