Toddi (Kendall) Mellenthin I met my husband, Mike, on a blind date set up by mutual friends. We married in 1999 and moved to Emmett back in the area I grew up.
We have 2 children - Jacob Michael - 14 years and Aryana RoseMarie - 3 years.
After high school, I went to work for Morrison Knudsen where I stayed until 1983 when I moved to Reno, NV. I worked for an accounting firm, "Grant Thornton" until 12/88. I lived with two Idahoans there for a time - (one a classmate (Randi (Stroud) Avery). In 1988 I was offered a job with that firm in Honolulu as Marketing Director and was also offered a job with Deloitte & Touche in Boise. I chose the job in Boise to be close to family again. Even though Hawaii would have been wonderful, I never regretted my decision because I lived with my sister until her death in 1994, and was able to spend quality time with her. I met my husband (Mike) in 1998 thru mutual friends and went on a blind date. He was a single father and worked for ISSH in Nampa where he still works. We married in 1999 and moved to Emmett where we built our dream log home on 8 acres where I grew up to be closer to my parents. In 2002 I adopted his son (Jacob) when he was 9 years old. I left Deloitte & Touche and started an Espresso business (Hot Toddi's Espresso) in Fruitland, ID. I sold that business to stay at home with our 3 year old daughter, Aryana. Life now revolves around family and our son's sports and cattle events. I've been working with youth as a 4H leader for 12 years in Gem County, and enjoy the kids in my club. Life has definitely been interesting and challenging -- I lost both my siblings. Life is short and we can only live day by day, and cannot change the outcome. I can be emailed at spook14@msn.com and look forward to seeing everyone in September.
