Angela (Weekes) Kuntz At our ten year reunion I was a newly wed. Jeremy and I had been married for a year. We just celebrated 11 years. My husband works as an electrician for Power Plus. We live in Nampa. We now have two amazing children, McKaylee (8) and Dakota (5). They keep us busy with dance, soccer, and guitar and such. We are actively involved with the First Christian Church in Nampa. Jeremy is an intern with our minister and plays the drums in our praise and worship team. I am the Christian Education Director and a Sunday School Teacher (another way to be involved with my kidsJ). I am still working with the Nampa Police Department. I have worked narcotics, patrol DARE, and as a school resource officer. I am currently a corporal in the Crimes against Persons Unit. I work homicides, rapes, robberies, sex abuse and other major cases. I am also a Crisis Negotiator for the department. I am the visionary and board president of the Nampa Family Justice Center which is a one stop shop for Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Sexual Assault victims. We opened our center three years ago as one of fifteen across the country as a pilot project from the President’s Family Justice Center Initiative. We have recently been recognized as one of the five most successful Justice Centers in the US. I am also an instructor for the Idaho Police Academy, The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and have taught for two years at the International Family Justice Center Conference. I am passionately committed to my work in ending family violence and have been blessed with the opportunity to be involved in that everyday at work. See you in July.
