Dawn (Siems) Barron

Ok…well lets see…where to begin…Oh yes…1988!!  I moved to Elko Nevada.  Boy what a booming town that is! NOT!  Full of drunks and gamblers!  At least it’s not as small as Round Mountain (Robin knows)!  I married George a year later and we just celebrated our 19th anniversary.  OMG!!!  19 years…seems just like yesterday!

Jumping to 1992 moved back to Emmett to have our son Ian.  Elko is NOT the place to seek medical attention!  Everyone says more people come out in body bags than of their own free will.  Ian is now 16 and headed off to high school (Larry Parks is thanking his lucky stars for that)!

Another jump, 1994 had another son, Maxx.  He is now 14 and I’m sure Larry is counting the days until he is out of Jr. High (sorry Larry :o)..)

In 1998 we were reunited with our daughter that was placed for adoption when I was 16.  If you didn’t know that I was pregnant then…I’m amazed…well because… hello…. people, Emmett is a VERY small town and oh how people like to talk.  Her name is Amy and she just turned 22 and lives in Boise.

I am very lucky to work right here in Emmett Idaho.  I work for TJT, Inc.  I am the Corporate Credit Manager and have been working for them for the past 7 years.  (If Mr. Moon read this, he would probably pass out…Dawn….working with numbers…keeping books)  Anyways, it’s a far cry from working in the medical arena.

George works in Nampa as Operations Manger for PSC.  He really enjoys his job.  He worked for United Oil for 12 years before this new job opportunity came available to him.

My life is wonderful and I wouldn’t change anything at all.  We are a happy family, that enjoy spending time racing down the canal on the ATV’s, watching scary movies and most of all laughing until our sides ache!

I hope everyone is happy and living life to the fullest!
