Hello everyone, unfortunately I will be unable to attend the upcoming class reunion as I had anticipated and planned for. It seems that, yes once again, my current job requirements are taking me out of the country for "business". I have provided a forwarding email and mailing address you can reach me at during my trip abroad should you wish to share any reunion information with me:

Email address:
Leland.Patnaude@bgab.afcent.af.mil or Leland.patnaude@idbois.ang.af.mil

A little history about myself and what I have been up to since we graduated high school so long ago. I moved away from Idaho for a short duration while serving a tour of duty with the United States Navy in the European theater of operations. During my stay with the Navy I was stationed on the island of Sicily, Italy. I visited over 20 different countries in Europe, Africa, and South West Asia while flying on and maintaining a fleet of Supper Sea Stallions or for the aviation inclined better know as the CH53-E. Upon returning to Idaho, I joined the Idaho Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic helping to maintain a squadron of RF-4 and F4-G Wild Weasels. During this time I also elected to obtain my Airframes and Power plants
license from the Federal Aviation Administration and graduated with an A.A.S Degree, on the Deans list, from Idaho State Universities Aircraft Maintenance Program. Currently I am employed fulltime with the Idaho Air National Guard as an aircraft mechanic maintaining both A-10 and C-130 type military aircraft. Additionally I am nearing the completion of a Bachelors
degree in Aviation Maintenance Management through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Besides my military and civilian aviation maintenance career I also have a family of three children, two sons and a daughter, who normally keep me very busy while on the home front. Joseph, who is twelve going on thirteen, has just finished the seventh grade this year and is so ready to be a teenager. Jordan, who is now eleven going on twelve, is very excited about moving into middle school this next school year. Kylee is my youngest at ten years old
and is moving on to fifth grade this next year; she is our sports enthusiast in the family.

When these two main parts of my life don't have me too tied down I am normally to be found fly fishing on one of Idaho's many high mountain lakes or rivers. As a family we also enjoy camping and riding motorcycles throughout Idaho's many recreation areas.

Best wishes to all and hopefully I will make the 25th reunion,

Joe
