You are here: Classes » 1990 Class of '90 The class of 1990 started with high hopes as freshmen. Still we started our sharing a building with the Jr. high. We were assigned Mrs. Haun and Mrs. White as advisors. We tied for third with the seniors in the float competition. Because we were freshmen, during the parade we got egged. We were soon to learn the perils of high school such as detention and geting called to Mr. Horning's office. We elected Nebin Gendal as President, Christanne Smith as vice President; Jeff Panko as treasurer, Kristen Smyth as Secretary and Blu Behrmann and Jodie White as Representitaves. As Sophomores our spirits soared. We captured first place in float building (boy were we proud of our skunk) beating the seniors out of their three year winning streak. Over Christmas break we got to move into our new home--the domes. We got the feeling of being freshmen all over again as we tried to memorize our way around. Junior year we once again took first place in the homecoming float competition with our "FLUSH EM" toilet float. We also took first place in the hall decoration! During the powder puff football game the game was said to be scoreless but we all know who caught an interception, who really made a touchdown, and who really won the game. Our class was led by Nebin Gendal as President, Troy Campbell as VP; Blu Behrmann as Secretary; Julie Shindell as Treasurer; and Jodie White and Stacy Cutbirth as Representatives. As Juniors it was our jear to host the Jr/Sr Prom. It was said to be the best ever! Finally, we made it to our senior year. During homecoming we won the float competition with a self-propelled castle that even amazed ourselves. We also took first in the hall decoration and claimed the spirit trophy by blowing away everyone in the class competitions. Kathy Howard was crowned Homecoming Queen with Blu Behrmann and Rochelle Little as runners up. But most importantly our Football team BEAT BK!!!!!!!!!! As school leadership we elected: Troy Campbell was Student Body President; Julie Schindell, VP; Nebin Gendall, Treasurer; Dianne Browne, Sec. of Organizations; Judy Robertson, Secretary. As Class Officers we elected: Blu Behrmann, Pres; Jodie White, VP; Darcia Gurney Treasurer; Tana Blacker and Tammy Flowers, Representatives. Right before Christmas Darcia Gurney was crowned Sweethearts Ball Queen with Jodie White and Blu Behrmann runners up. For Tip off we played and beat Weiser and Angie Walker was crowned Tip Off Queen. Later on that spring Darcia Gurney and Troy Campbell were crowned Prom King and Queen. As the class of 1990 leaves the home of the Huskies, many memories will follow, those friendships, good times, growing close and always looking forward to our futures. When we reach the future I know that we will "take the best forget the rest and someday we'll find, these are the best of times."
