Layne Children: Son: Dawson Wesley Layne age: 5 Step-son: Dylan C.T. Layne age: 10 Where do you currently reside: 333 Bellaire Drive Woodway, Tx 76712 (254) 666-1995 I moved to Texas July 2001 after dating my brother’s best friend for a year in a half, long-distance. We are best friends and have been happily married for over 6 years. I have a step-son, Dylan and we have a little boy, Dawson. We stay very busy and have enjoyed “flipping houses” since we got married. We are on our third home and plan to turn a profit sometime next spring. We will buy another bank owned or severely miss treated home, fix it up and sell it again. My mother in law is a realtor and apparently if you live in a house longer than 2 years you are loosing money?! I have got used to it, but I come from a family that lives in the same house their whole life, so of course my folks think the in-laws are a little off their rocker. Some day we may come back home, but that wont be for some time to come. My folks say that I “talk funny” but down here they say that I talk like a Yankee because I call Coke..Pop. Down here anything outside of the state line is called a Yankee or a Mexican, either way I am a foreigner. I have learned to pick my fights. We have great country music, dancing and BBQ. The only thing really big down here is their bugs and the Texas Pride. Seriously, have you ever heard of a Texas themed Birthday Party, Bedroom and Patio furniture and even toilet seat covers? They can’t keep them on the shelf!! I really think I am in another country but the people are awesome and I love it down here.
